How licensing works
Request, receive, activate.
- Request Install the apps, open the Launcher and choose Request a License. Send us the request it creates.
- Receive We send back your license for the apps you bought, or a 15-day trial.
- Activate Paste the license into the Launcher and click Activate. It is checked on your machine from then on.

About licensing.
Why sell perpetual licenses when most survey software is subscription-only?
Because a survey firm should own its tools. A perpetual or Founders license is paid once, keeps working for as long as you use it, and still receives every quality and feature update. Monthly and yearly licenses are there if you would rather spread the cost.
What does the Founders license include?
Every app in the launch release (Surveyor, CAD, Puck, Collector and Pg-GPS) with a perpetual license and every future quality and feature update to those apps. Apps released after launch are not part of Founders.
Are updates included?
Yes. Every license, monthly, yearly, perpetual or Founders, includes quality and feature updates.
How does the free trial work?
Every launch app can be tried free for 15 days. Request a trial, install the apps, and activate the trial license in the Launcher.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
Yes. Every purchase and renewal comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Is the Launcher included?
Yes. The Launcher is free and comes with every installation. It is where you activate your license and open your apps.
Do the apps need to be online, or a USB dongle?
Neither. Your license is checked on your machine, so the apps keep working offline once it is activated, with no dongle to lose in the field and no license server to go down on deadline day.
What happens when a monthly or yearly license ends?
The app stops opening until you renew or buy a perpetual license. Your projects stay on your own drives; nothing is held in our cloud.
Can I license a whole team?
Yes. Email sales@pg-core.com with the apps and the number of people, and we will put the license together.
